Stanley Mining Services and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining an
international occupational health and safety programme across all of its divisions,
regardless of location. Ongoing safety reviews and internal and external safety system
audits form an integral part of the company's operations.
|
The Company is committed to ongoing training for all employees. Each divisional safety
co-ordinator is responsible for implementing a structured safety training programme.
West African Drilling Services, Stanley Mining Services Tanzania and Southern Africa and
Layne Drilling each employ full time safety co-ordinators. They are fully supported by
the Layne Christensen Company's safety division in the USA.
The Group works closely with the Western Australian Department of Minerals and Energy
and the Australian Drilling Industry Association to ensure new developments in standards
and techniques are implemented.
